What’s been happening:

MARTIN E. BROOKS, (aka BAUM),Wilkes-Barre PA native, was a paratrooper with the 11th Airborne Division during WWII. After the war, he attended Penn State University, which, in 1976, honored him with the Distinguished Artist Award. Mr. Brooks attended Erwin Piscator's Dramatic Workshop. He won the Off-Broadway Best Actor Award for Wolfgang Borchert's Outside the Door. His Broadway credits include Arthur Miller's adaptation of Enemy of the People. He received the Theatre World Award and the Donaldson Award for John Steinbeck's Burning Bright. He appeared in John Van Druten's I Am A Camera for which he received a Tony nomination. He has had the privilege of working with the greatest First Ladies of the Broadway Theatre...Katherine Cornell, Helen Hayes, Julie Harris, Ruth Gordon, Geraldine Page and Uta Hagen. Mr. Brooks moved to LA, and became a Practitioner of Religious Science. He continued performing in many stage productions and TV series including Six Million Dollar Man, Bionic Woman and Dallas. He's produced, directed and taught acting for years. He's a lifetime member of the Actor's Studio and a member of Theatre West. He has just finished a novel, Epitaph for Danny Brown. His book, First, Do Unto Yourself was recently published. His play, Joe & Flo, was optioned by director Mark Rydell for Broadway and several screenplays are being considered for production.
